Resource Links

Below are a few resources for good information, supplies and fun stuff relevant for house rabbits.

House Rabbit Care and Health

House Rabbit Society Excellent source of information on care health, behavior, problem solving. Material can be a little overwhelming, but so worth reading. Great FaceBook page as well.

Rabbit Supplies

Bunny Bytes The foster mom of our Violet runs this helpful online store, and helped us launch Bunfectionary. Awesome inventive toys, hays, treats, and more toys. Adorable handmade Christmas stockings were even featured in the NY Times.

Rabbit Rescues

Rabbit Haven (near Tacoma, WA)

Rabbit Meadows (Seattle, WA)

Tranquillity Trails (Scottsdale, AZ) Best photographs on Facebook!

Special Bunny (Seattle area)

Fun stuff for humans

My House Rabbit has information on rabbit care as well as pictures. But what makes this site unique is the super cute design work featured in its cards, mugs, and ornaments. The bunny building a snow bunny ornament makes me all warm and fuzzy. Ditto the coffee mug with the bunny holding a coffee mug while wearing bunny slippers. And the four bunnies tucked in bed…

Modernist Cuisine Move past the hocus pocus liquid nitrogen and cauldron of polysyllabic chemicals, and you have a culinary masterwork that catalogs means of cooking and food preparation that have been developed in the past fifty years. When you consider that most pet treats, including for rabbits, are based on recipes developed in the 1800’s, you can see why we refer to our treats as modernist pet treats.
